Noon– 1:00 p.m.: PRESENTATION
Are you ready to respond? If an employee at your organization is accused of sexual harassment or misconduct within the next hour, what's your plan? Organizations are often caught off guard by the allegations. This presentation will help you create a plan to prepare for the unexpected. We will discuss the definition of sexual harassment in the context of those trickier, borderline cases. We will review what liability your organization has for sexual harassment as you move up your corporate ladder. We will examine what should be in your anti-harassment policy, key components to a complaint procedure, and how to engage in the investigative process. Lastly, we will discuss appropriate corrective action and restoration to the organization and victim. At the end, it is my goal that you are confident in taking the rights steps if a claim of sexual harassment is made at your organization.
