Noon– 1:00 p.m.: PRESENTATION
BIO of Presenter: Emily Trautman is a senior economist with Montana’s Department of Labor and Industry. Recent work includes statewide and regional job projections, examining trends in Montana’s Registered Apprenticeship program, and an analysis of Bozeman’s labor market.
Presentation Description: Why do we keep hearing about a worker shortage, and are there any solutions? What are wage trends across Montana, and how do they compare to the U.S. average? What skills and occupations do we expect to be most in-demand by employers? This presentation will answer these questions and more by examining Montana’s labor market trends along with what to expect in the future.
