Veteran reintegration is happening every day and we are expecting a surge of 30,000 to 50,000 veterans and service members returning home, nationally, by December of 2014. This presentation is a birds eye view of what is being done to meet the veteran reintegration challenge; the part played by the private sector, military, businesses, state and federal resources.
Initiatives that assist the veteran can assist people in Human Resources understand how to become engaged in the process. The programs and methods may be known by some in HR, but there will be new information. You will see a segment on USERRA law. I am the federal investigator for USERRA complaints. That may interest some who have questions regarding business and service member obligations.

The hotel requires a 48 hours confirmation for catered events. RSVPs help the GVHRA board, presenter, facility and food providers to accommodate all attendees. Members who make a reservation and DO NOT attend will be charged. Additionally, copies of presentation materials and food may not be available for those who do not RSVP.
