Kathy has been a staffing professional since 2009 and a former legislator who served on the Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee. In 2013, she completed the Western Legislative Leadership Academy. An alumnus of Sheridan College, the University of Wyoming, and Arizona State University, Kathy is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science from ASU's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Since 2019, she has been dedicated to international labor and culture exchanges working with non-immigrant visa programs, finding this work particularly rewarding.
